The Kyrgyzstan State Tax Service (STS) has announced a tax amnesty regime for individuals under the Law on Voluntary Legalization and Amnesty of Assets of Individuals. According to the STS, individuals may qualify for amnesty if they voluntarily declare previously undeclared assets held as of 1 January 2023, including movable and immovable property, funds, etc. If the voluntary declaration is made by 9 June 2024, the individual will be exempted from the payment of taxes, customs duties, social security contributions, and other mandatory payments in respect of the assets declared. Further, protection from criminal liability is provided.
